Omos released this coming Tuesday
![]() Do you see the pun? When I was sending the prospective covers to Marci, I was titling them in this fashion: omosgood.jpg omosmorebutt.jpg omosverygood.jpg omosnobutt.jpg Almost, almost, almost... Heh heh. There's a story behind the cover, as you can see. Yes, another pun in there. Started with a vague shadow of clothing on the bottom, see, but Marci was dissatisfied with this. I thought she wanted more clothes showing, but it turned out that she wanted less, lol. So I gave her less clothes--omosmorebutt. But then the man's bottom didn't look right. His posture didn't have an obvious reason for being tilted that way. We went the opposite and I added more clothes--omosverygood. But then I noticed he had more curve on his butt than he needed. It's from the position of taking off his pants, gives him this female-ish tilt. He had an immediate shave--I took a good bit of skin off him. And there you have omosnobutt, the final cover. You know, Omos is my series buffoon. I take him very seriously, but he's my buffoon. All right, I don't take him that seriously. Poor guy. Naming him Omos, then making fun of him. Oh, you want a big picture now? Look further down my blog about the brain needing to use the coffee post. A link for the perpetually lazy (of which I am one, when I can get away with it): http://kmfrontain.blogspot.com/2007/07/ So Omos of the Ether is out this coming Tuesday. Yay! I have my ARC. I have a reader nagging Marci for the release. I have another two books to finish in the series... Oh, my. Lazy must stop. I'm not lazy. Really. I just go brain dead for days at a time... Go read the caffeine post if you don't believe me. Well, that post only covered the dimmer switch problem... Ah, never mind. I'm just going to have to hunker down and get to work, no matter what. |
